Westerwood Neighborhood Association

At its heart, the Westerwood Neighborhood Association (WNA) is about people and community. Made up of neighbors who care deeply about where they live, the WNA exists to support, connect, and advocate for Westerwood and its residents.

The WNA hosts events like the Westerwood Chili Cook Off, our annual neighborhood yard sale, and other seasonal gatherings that foster connection across generations and create the shared experiences that make this neighborhood feel like home. Westerwood is also proud to serve as the home for community favorites like Art & Sole and the Westerwood 5K, events we help welcome and support as they bring energy and connection into the neighborhood.

We work to bring together neighbors, the City of Greensboro, and local businesses to support Westerwood and its residents while encouraging thoughtful growth and change.

Whether you’ve lived here for years, have just moved in, or are just getting to know the neighborhood, we invite you to get involved, stay connected, and be part of Westerwood’s ongoing story.

WNA Meetings

The Westerwood Neighborhood Association meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month
(excluding July and December) at 6:30 at Borough Coffee.

Board

The Board of Directors is made up of seven elected directors who each serve two-year terms. From within the board, four officers are selected to help guide the work of the WNA.

Committees are open to anyone in the neighborhood with an interest in a specific area. They may include board members or volunteers who simply want to get involved and contribute.

Board elections are held each year at our Annual Meeting in January.

If you’re interested in serving on the board or joining a committee, we’d love to hear from you.
