Westerwood is one of Greensboro’s oldest and most cherished neighborhoods, just west of downtown and shaped by more than a century of community life. Established in 1919, it was designed as a walkable neighborhood where homes, porches, and green spaces invite connection.

The Westerwood Neighborhood Association is led by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of neighbors who care deeply about this community. The board supports neighborhood initiatives, organizes events, and serves as a resource and connector for residents. From planning gatherings to sharing information, their work helps keep Westerwood engaged, welcoming, and connected.
